The brief

A friend runs a small boutique on the French Riviera selling certified-authentic designer bags, brand new and vintage. The whole business runs through Instagram DMs and WhatsApp. She didn't want a shop, a cart, or a checkout — she wanted one link for her bio that made a stranger trust her enough to message.

What I did

  • Matched the product. Black and gold, an Art-Deco frame, an ornate crest. It reads like a boutique window, not a link-tree.
  • Kept the sale where she wants it. The two buttons are "Enquire on WhatsApp" and "Browse on Instagram". No form to ignore, no inbox to check — enquiries land where she already works.
  • Made it instant. Hand-coded, single page, no framework, no build step. It's opened from a phone on a profile tap, so it loads before the thumb lifts.
  • Handled the credibility signals. "Verified on Instagram", reply-time expectation, sourcing story — the things that turn a cold DM into a warm one.

The result

The account now has a front door that looks like a real business. Every sale still happens in DMs, which is exactly how she likes to sell — the site just gets people there already half-convinced.
